Bleach Lab – Close To The Flame
Released: July 18, 2025
Origin: London, UK
Genres: Dream pop, Indie rock, Shoegaze
Bleach Lab return with Close To The Flame, their fourth studio EP and a significant step forward in their creative journey. Marking their first fully self-produced project since their acclaimed debut album Lost In A Rush of Emptiness (2023), this new release affirms the London-based band's dedication to emotional honesty and sonic clarity.
Crafted by producers Louis Takooree and Kieran Weston, and finalized with mixing by Caesar Edmunds and mastering by Kevin Tuffy, Close To The Flame unfolds as a focused exploration of love’s complexities—loss, vulnerability, longing, and self-preservation. Bleach Lab’s signature blend of dream pop haze and indie rock bite is present throughout, but this time the band leans further into atmosphere and nuance, trusting silence and space as much as melody.
There’s a palpable sense of independence in these four tracks. Free from external production constraints, Bleach Lab sound more assured and intimate than ever—delivering music that shimmers, aches, and ultimately glows with quiet intensity.
